work, work, work

Good news! I found two jobs - one at Sea Saba Dive Shop Center and the other at Jo Bean's Glass Studio. Check out their websites: Sea Saba and JoBean's Glass Studio. This should keep me more than busy! Check out the pictures below . . .

Keith has been busy studying all day every day. Keep him in your prayers as he has his first exams this upcoming week: lab exam on Monday and Anatomy and Histology theory exams on Tuesday. These are his "block" exams which he has every 3 weeks. Tuesday afternoon will be our first day to relax together! I'm hoping for some tennis . . .

Also worth checking out from YouTube: take a ride on the Saba Roller Coaster. This video was made by some medical students driving on "The Road." Look for a small black goat crossing the road. We live up the driveway on the left.

This is Jo Bean's Glass Art studio.

Inside the store

Jo Bean herself making a turtle. The flame has to get up to 2000 degrees Farenheit in order to melt the glass.

Some of the beautiful glass sticks imported from Venice, Italy.

The first glass beads I made! Definitely need a lot more practice . . .
